Manea's Meats is a specialty, family-owned and operated meat market in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. We pride ourselves in our unique selections of beef, chicken, and pork. Position Schedule
Days: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
- Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
- Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
- Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
- Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
- Identify the cause of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
- Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.
- Prepare reports documenting work performed.
- Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
- Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
- Collaborates with product manager or plant engineer regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required.
- Making necessary modifications and implements test runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
- Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
- Individuals should have a good safety and attendance record. Regular attendance at work and punctuality are essential job functions.
- Works well independently and with others.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience & Education
- Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience.
- Safety training.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the use of all parts of the body. This includes activities such as (but not limited to) walking, lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and turning.
Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, elbows, hands, and fingers are required.
It requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
Lastly, this position requires the ability to stand for the entirety of the shift (minus break/rest periods).
This position is subject to temperatures ranging from 30 degrees to 50 degrees constantly.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Other environmental factors may apply.
